Nature Freak

I love nature, always have and always will. There's nothing more peaceful then taking a walk in the forest surrounded by nature and wildlife. It really calms me down, clear my mind and soul, and at the same time fills me up with some new energy.

When I am in the forest I don't have my headphones on, I don't listen to music nor talk on the phone. I'm there because I want to feel Mother Earth and be close with nature. Sure, I need to be alert also because I am alone in the woods, an animal or a person might appear out of nowhere so I'd like to be aware of my surroindings when I'm out there walking.

I have encountered many animals while taking walks in the forest. Moose, deer, rabbits, snakes, of course birds and some other critters. For now I haven't met any boar and they are probably the only ones I don't want to meet when I'm out in the woods. Also moose with her calves is something I don't want to meet because I know I wont stand a chance against a moose or boar, I'm not a fast runner nor a good climber.

I used to meditate a lot and when I was in the forest I had, still have, a place some meters inside the woods where I sit and meditate. It's very peaceful and very fascinating how you can begin to hear sounds from far away and all kind of sounds in the woods. I don't meditate as much as I used to do but once and a while it comes back to me.

The sound of the wind through the trees and the sound of the birds chirping is the most beautiful thing. When walking along the dirt path and all the sudden two deers run across the path is an amazing experience. I swear, and I've said this before, animals really do make me feel pure joy and love straight from my heart and soul. They make me feel so happy and I truly feel it's a blessing sharing this planet with them.
