Stenshuvuds Nationalpark and Åhus

My four week vacation from work has finally begun. I visited Stenshuvuds nationalpark which is a big nature reserve with trails and it also has a big beautiful beach. But there was no swimming for me that day because the weather and ocean was too cold for me.

We took the longest trail which was supposed to take 1,5 hour. Considering some of the terrain that amount of time seemed correct. But then we also stopped and took a bunch of photos so the whole walk took closer to 2 - 2,5 hours.

Then it was the steep hike up to the outpost where the view was amazing. Well worth it when we finally made it up there!

The day after we took a short trip to a small town nearby called Åhus. We went to the beach and it was atleast 20 years ago since I last took a swim in Sweden but that day was different. However, I wont be doing that anytime soon again. The water in Sweden is very disgusting!

We ended the day in Åhus with some ice cream and then we headed back home.
