Isn't he a handsome little man?
I bought the bow tie so he could wear it during Christmas Eve. I tried it on him and he didn't mind wearing it, so that's a first good sign that it might stay on when Christmas Eve comes. Last Christmas I bought a christmas outfit for him, a jacket with a hood, it didn't go very well, he didn't like it, hehe. He fell flat on his side and just laid there. But it was cute for the two seconds it lasted.
His name is Jaxon and he's 4 years old. He's an outdoor cat but for the past 2 months he has been staying indoor a lot more, he might go out one or two times a week for a few hours at a time. But I don't mind, I like having him as an indoor cat, he's more social with me and almost like a whole other cat.
It's been a while since I wrote something in this blog. I've been busy with school and a very long internship. I hope that I finally can keep up with the updates on my websites and begin to have somewhat of a life again.
Much has happened during these months. I've lost a bunch of weight. Got my tattoo retouched, I still don't think the background looks like space but I'm much happier with it after the retouch. I've been on a internship for six weeks, they have been hellish and painful. My back could handle the first four days but after that it all went downhill. I've been taking very strong painmedication during this time and I really don't like taking medications. I'm proud over myself to be honest. I could barely stand when I got home everyday, that's how much pain I was in, even though I was popping pills 24/7.
Today I went to visit my grandmothers grave. I can't believe it's been three years since she died. It's so strange to think back knowing you had a whole life with someone and all the sudden, they're not there anymore.
My dog, a mixed breed, who is 12 years old can no longer jump up in the trunk of the car.
She's a very stubborn girl and doesn't like to recieve help from anyone, when helping her up in the trunk she gets very upset if I try to lift her up. So, even though I don't like it, she is now allowed in the backseat. For some reason she's a lot calmer in the backseat. When she was in the trunk she always walked in circles but in the backseat she either sits or lay down.
With age she's gotten a lot more stubborn and she gets away with so many things, it's very rare for me to get strict with her anymore rather I bow down to her demands, haha. She's old, every day with her is a blessing and I don't want to argue over stupid things, I want to hug and kiss her and spend time with her and do things she consider fun.
I can't believe she's 12 years old. Diva has been in my life for 12 years, that's amazing!
My summer vacation involved work, work, relaxing and a cruise over to Poland.
I don't really count Poland as an abroad trip, more like a visit to a neighbour. I've been there more times than I can count, but it's fun and even more fun now when Poland have opened their new mall, Riviera. Well, it's not that new anymore but it's the newest thing they have over there, and it's huge! We arrived there around 9.30 am and only due to the restraints of the wallet we were finished shopping around 17.00 pm. Very exhausting.
The boat is very fun, sort of. Since I don't drink alcohol we spent the (both) evenings eating food, shopping in the bordershop and gambling. Sure I won some but in the end I lost a total of 115 SEK. My sister however won around 350 SEK. She was on a roll all day that last day.
School starts tomorrow, the only good thing about that is the time that is left to finishing school is coming closer. I long for it to be over.
I'm helping my sister remove stone slabs from the driveway this summer. It's easy to get them up but they are many and it is heavy.
We have done two thirds of the driveway and we're finishing what's left later this week. I don't know what she's planning to do after we've removed the flagstones. I heard talks about adding asphalt or putting back the flagstones after evening out the driveway. Time will tell what it will be.
I have three weeks left on my vaccation, I really don't want them to end, or at least I want the days to slow down. I don't mind the days going by fast while at work or school but when it's vaccation, please slow down! ;)
My tattoo is healing up fine and the swelling of the arm is almost completely gone. The healing process is a lot easier with this tattoo than my first. I remember it itching much more with my first one and some other issues. But the healing process with this new one is not over yet. I long to see how the end result will look like.
Today I got my second tattoo. I'd been waiting to do this for over one year and finally the day arrived. It was more painful doing the tattoo on the inside of the forearm then when I did my first tattoo on my fibula. But I made it. It took almost four hours.
The tattoo is of a tiger, the earth with some trees, birds, a lighteningbolt and comets and a star. I wanted the background to be more similar to space but as for now I think it looks more like the sky. The arm is soooo swollen right now, but it doesn't hurt very much, only when I accidently bump into it or touch it.
I really love the tattoo, I can't stop staring at the pictures I took of it and stare at my arm, haha. I will have more tattoos in the future, add something on my fibula close to the first tattoo and later on another tattoo on the back of the shoulder.
